Responsabilités

• Perform all functions of a Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department.
• Input prescription information into the computer, including patient search, prescriber search, drug selection, interpretation and entry, insurance billing, and basic problem resolution.
• Collect and verify customer and prescription information for new and refills, including refill authorization when permitted by state law.
• Retrieve medications from inventory as allowed by state law and create prescription labels.
• Place medications into prescription containers as permitted by state law.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and input customer and prescription data into the computer system.
• Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order.
• Assist in inventory management processes including order review, inventory returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory prep.
• Reconstitute oral liquids where permitted by state law.
