This contract-to-hire position requires hospital or retail/mail-order pharmacy experience, a pharmacy technician license, and strong data-entry skills. The schedule is weekdays, with benefits dependent on employment status and duration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years in a retail or mail order pharmacy.
• Active pharmacy technician license or state-required certification.
• Experience as pharmacy technician or services rep in a call center or mail order setting.
• Proficient in accurate data entry within pharmacy software systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and managing escalations with professionalism and empathy.
• Respond to patient and provider questions related to medication orders, delivery status, and general pharmacy services.
• Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely fulfillment through the mail order pharmacy system.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions.
• Label and package medications for mail order distribution, ensuring all prescriptions are filled correctly and meet quality standards.
• Verify patient information and prescription details for accuracy before processing and dispensing.
