Job summary

Cone Health seeks a Pharmacy Manager to plan, integrate, and oversee resources for comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with nursing and medical teams to support patient care.

The role requires a Doctor of Pharmacy (or BS Pharm) with 7 years total pharmacist experience, including 3 in a leadership role, and NC license eligibility within two months. Advanced degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for North Carolina pharmacy license within 2 months of hire.
• 7 years total pharmacist experience with 3 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Plan, integrate, and evaluate resources to provide pharmacy services for inpatient and outpatient programs.
• Coordinate staff, material, and financial resources to achieve pharmaceutical and consultative services.
• Lead performance improvement activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Foster collaboration across health system pharmacies and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor costs and adjust staffing and budgets to support patient care and operations.
• Coach staff in pharmacy service delivery and professional practice.
