Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform functions of Pharmacy Service Representative to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department.
• Enter prescription information into the computer system, including patient and prescriber data.
• Process new and refill prescriptions, including insurance billing and doctor authorization where applicable.
• Retrieve medications from inventory and label containers in accordance with state law.
• Maintain and organize the Pharmacy department to keep it clean and in order.
• Assist in inventory management, including order review and restocking shelves.
• Reconstitute oral liquids where permitted by state law.
