• High school diploma or GED with 600 practical hours in retail or pharmacy operations.
• Ability to perform duties in a retail pharmacy environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Pharmacy Service Representative duties to ensure prompt service in the Pharmacy Department.
• Enter prescription information into the computer including patient and prescriber searches, drug selection, interpretation and entry, insurance billing and issue resolution.
• Process new and refill prescriptions, including obtaining refill authorizations where allowed by state law.
• Retrieve medications from inventory as allowed by state law.
• Create prescription labels and apply them to containers per state law.
• Label, package, and dispense medications as required by state law.
• Complete paperwork and input data into the computer system in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the Pharmacy department.
• Assist in inventory management, including order review, returns, restocking, and physical inventory prep.
• Reconstitute oral liquids where permitted by state law.
