Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Kentucky, a member of the Guardian family of pharmacies, is excited to grow our Lexington team with a sales and account management role.

You will build strong client relationships, expand market share for LTC clients, and coordinate with leadership to evaluate profitability before proposals. Travel up to 75% across the Lexington/Louisville market is required.

Competitive salary ($75,000–$85,000 DOE) and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Nursing/healthcare background preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration preferred; PTCB preferred.
• Experience in sales and/or account management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call and visit current customers to build relationships and facilitate positive working relationships.
• Market pharmacy as preferred provider of services to increase penetration and patients served.
• Act as liaison with pharmacy operations to maintain high service levels and resolve issues.
• Maintain customer relationships and serve as expert advisor for retention.
• Ensure smooth startup for new facilities; train staff during start-up.
• Assist in data collection for new facility start-ups to ensure accuracy.
• Provide consulting to customers to aid compliance.
• Provide in-service training to customer staff as needed.
• Participate in local association meetings related to LTC facilities.
• Travel up to 75% and assist in other duties as needed.
