Albright Pharmacy Services in Gaithersburg, MD, is seeking a Pharmacy Returns Technician - PT to support campus residents by processing return medications for credit or destruction under pharmacist supervision. This role helps maintain compliance for dispensing and long-term care facilities served by the pharmacy.

The position requires a high school diploma, pharmacy technician licensing or national certification, and experience with pharmacy software.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience as a pharmacy technician/data entry with prescription entry knowledge.
Proficient computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Familiarity with PrimeCare/QS1 Pharmacy operations system and exposure to Pharmacy Automation (TCGRx, Pyxis).
Experience handling returned medications and documenting them back to inventory.
Maryland Board of Pharmacy technician license and/or national certification.
Preferred Maryland driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a pharmacist, process return medications for credit or destruction.
Operate Pharmacy computer system to ensure timely returns documentation.
Coordinate pickup of medications for destruction from vendors or regulatory means.
Maintain inventory and assist with semi-annual physical inventory.
