Job summary

CSI Pharmacy is seeking a CSI Referral Coordinator (H) in Plano, TX. The role is 100% on-site with a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm CST.

Responsibilities include gathering information for referrals, obtaining prior authorizations, processing pre-certifications, and coordinating with patients and providers. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and must obtain a Pharmacy Technician License within 90 days of start.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-demand environment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy payors and medical payors is preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician License must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the authorization and pre-cert process for each referral.
• Follow up on referrals receipt.
• Process referrals for requested services in a timely manner.
• Enter referral/authorization data accurately into the EMR.
• Communicate with patients and insurance and coordinating referrals.
• Maintain required reports and records.
