Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy in Knoxville, TN seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join East Tennessee Pharmacy Services, supporting long-term care facilities with medication management and records.

Key responsibilities include maintaining facility profiles, collaborating with facility staff, handling MARs and eMar processes, and ensuring timely service delivery. Requires state license and PTCB certification where applicable, with room to grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience (advanced degree may substitute)
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to excel in fast-paced, team-oriented environment handling multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain facility profiles in QS1 system.
• Develop and maintain contact relationships with facility staff for timely resolution.
• Create and implement custom Standing Orders or MAR print options in QS1.
• Navigate eMar procedures across platforms to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain active prescriptions with prescribers and facility staff.
• Update monthly MARs and Physician Orders for facilities.
• Communicate prescription questions/issues with physicians as needed.
• Schedule monthly records delivery with facilities and courier.
• Generate and maintain custom monthly reports for facilities.
• Perform monthly review of facility profiles and update as needed.
