Qualificações

• Pharmacist with a bachelor's or PharmD and an active license.
• 1+ year of related pharmacy experience.
• Proficient with pharmacy operations software and workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing to the patient, including filling, order entry, and packaging.
• Review orders and cycle-fill meds to ensure correctness.
• Verify legality and feasibility of dispensing based on allergies and interactions.
• Interpret prescription orders with professional judgment for safety.
• Adhere to Federal and State Board regulations and compounding guidelines.
• Transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies when needed.
• Answer patient, doctor, and nurse questions.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders when below par.
• Oversee technicians and provide performance feedback.
• Log error medication occurrences and participate in quality improvement.
