Job summary

Highmark Health in Zelienople, PA seeks a Pharmacist to optimize patient care by promoting safe, cost‑effective pharmaceutical services, including dispensing and the intravenous admixture program, while providing drug information to the care team.

You will supervise pharmacy technicians and students, manage daily inventory, and ensure compliance with federal, state and departmental regulations, with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy with licensure eligibility in PA and/or NY.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to provide drug information and support patient care.
• Strong collaboration with healthcare team and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions with prospective drug review to identify and prevent drug-related problems.
• Provide accurate drug information to health professionals and patients.
• Assist in department management and supervise staff, trainees and students.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Support night operations as needed and participate in safety initiatives.
