Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a PAID NETWORK DEVELOPMENT Specialist to strengthen physician relationships with the outpatient pharmacy, organize outreach to patients, and present updates to clinic leadership.

The role emphasizes collaboration with providers, business analytics, and on-campus health initiatives to serve employee and specialty pharmacy needs.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training. Related experience with building provider relationships, specialty pharmacy medication industry (trends, business lines and services).
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills to perform complex market and financial analysis.
• Creative problem solving skills to assess opportunities and issues and develop solutions.
• Strong interpersonal communication, relationship building and political acumen skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and technical skills to learn specialized applications and tools in the field.

• MBA.
• Strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy industry trends. Advanced knowledge of the specialty pharmacy business lines and services.
• Experience working with providers.
• Understanding business profit and loss.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $90,600 - $166,400 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $43.39 - $79.69

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
