Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Preferred prior Walgreens experience.
• Ability to count, measure and weigh medications.
• Good computer skills.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under direct supervision and uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised.
• Performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist.
• Handles prescription errors and reports them to the pharmacist on duty.
• Assists with inventory management and stock control for pharmaceuticals.
• Provides customer service in the photo area and supports web pick-up orders.
• Completes special assignments as requested.
