• Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register, collects cash and gives change; processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Recommends items for sale and assists customers to aisle; supports OTC products and guides customers to products when possible.
• Operates store systems to access patient prescription status; reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and follows policy.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised; takes inventory and prices merchandise as directed.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize loss and ensures compliance with state/local laws regarding regulated products.
• Constructs and maintains displays and completes resets as directed; assists with exterior and interior maintenance and ensures store appearance.
