Job summary

JPS Health Network seeks a Pharm Patient Asst Prog Coord to support drug assistance programs and reduce hospital pharmaceutical losses. The role involves coordinating patient eligibility, working with manufacturers, and maintaining comprehensive PAP records.

Based at Viola Pitts/Como Health Center in Fort Worth, Texas, the position handles reporting, enrollment tracking, and communications with Pharmacy, Business Office, and Information Systems to ensure smooth program operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant pharmacy work experience.
• Support pharmacy operations and patient assistance processes.
• Excellent communication with patients, nurses, physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients eligible for drug assistance programs.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for eligibility and forms.
• Maintain documentation for all PAP programs and patient enrollments.
• Assist in receiving, verifying shipments, and dispensing medications.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports of drug cost savings.
• Prepare information for external pharmaceutical audits.
• Track submissions and status in PAP software and Excel.
• Label and account for all PAP medications.
