Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Patient Advocate to manage medication assistance programs for uninsured and under-insured patients.

This role coordinates with hospital and clinic teams, maintains program data, and prepares cost-benefit reports for pharmacy administration and fiscal affairs. The position requires an associate’s degree in a science or health-related field with several years of related experience and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a science or health-related field required.
• Three years of medical or pharmacy-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution, and computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with hospital policies and pharmaceutical manufacturer policies for the medication assistance program.
• Maintain the program database and document activities across multiple software systems.
• Coordinate medication assistance program activities with hospitals, clinics, and treatment teams.
• Provide data on cost/benefits of the program through monthly reports to pharmacy administration and fiscal affairs.
• Serve as liaison to clinicians, pharmacists, social workers, patients, manufacturers, and fiscal affairs personnel.
