Job summary

Betty Hardwick Center seeks a Clinic Clerk to implement the Prescription Assistant Program (PAP) for all consumers. You will assess eligibility, complete daily applications, reorder medications, and monitor changes to ensure PAP and Sample databases stay current.

Responsibilities include labeling and dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, and preparing monthly reports for leadership. This is a Full-Time role with benefits, located in Texas.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preference for coursework emphasizing computer literacy, medication or financial services and administration.
• Experience in mental health and/or medical services is preferable.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and be an insurable driver.
• Moderate ability with computer skills including Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook and PBM/Med Data to monitor PAP and Samples accurately.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Prescription Assistant Program (PAP) for all consumers.
• Assess eligibility for PAP after each appointment.
• Complete daily applications for eligible consumers.
• Reorder and monitor changes of medications and reapplication.
• Update PAP and Sample Databases daily.
• Label and dispense medication as directed by the physician and store securely.
• Maintain accurate records and generate monthly reports for screenings, applications, costs, and samples dispensed.
