Job summary

CommuniCare Health in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Pharmacy Order Entry Technician to support patient-first medication services. Under supervision, you will enter new and readmitted resident orders, verify details, and ensure safe, cost-effective dispensing.

Your role requires Indiana registration or certification, strong data-entry skills, and excellent communication. You will manage calls, triage inquiries, and coordinate with staff to maintain accurate records and timely orders.

Qualifications

• Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician in Indiana.
• Experience in pharmacy or LTC settings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and input new/readmitted residents for medication dispensing.
• Enter orders and refills into the pharmacy system for pharmacist review.
• Triage patient/resident calls and route to the appropriate party.
• Maintain resident information and ensure accurate, timely records.
• Place outbound calls to facilities to clarify orders as needed.
