Job summary

PharMerica in Indianapolis is seeking Licensed Pharmacy Order Entry Technicians to support medication order processing and accuracy in a non-retail pharmacy setting.

You will triage, input and verify orders, perform basic drug calculations, and assist pharmacists while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to regulatory requirements. A strong team, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy-related experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of drugs, terminology, and the metric system.
• Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Triage, interpret and input orders into the pharmacy system with accuracy.
• Performs drug calculations including basic math conversions.
• May resolve issues of denials identified through adjudication and follow-up claims in POS.
• Maintains current knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes.
• May assist with drug preparation under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
