Job summary

Young at Heart Pharmacy seeks a detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to accurately input medication orders for institutional and long-term care patients. The role emphasizes speed and precision while following all company policies.

Training provided and collaboration with the Data Entry Team to ensure right patient, facility, payor, physician, drug, strength, and quantity. Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license and at least 1 year data entry experience required.

Qualifications

Active pharmacy technician license from the Indiana State Board of Pharmacy.
Minimum 1 year of data entry experience in pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Input customer and prescription data into the computer system
Ensure accuracy: right patient, facility, payor, physician, drug, strength, quantity, SIG
Work with customers and facilities to enter accurate information
Enter orders before cut-off deadline
Document issues and suggestions per company policies
