Job summary

CommuniCare Family of Companies seeks a Pharmacy Order Entry Technician for the evening shift (2:30pm–11pm) at 9299 Market Place, Broadview Heights, OH 44147. You will input and verify orders, maintain resident information in the pharmacy system, and triage calls to ensure accurate, timely medication processing.

The role requires a registered or certified Ohio pharmacy technician, strong communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail to support safe, cost-effective resident

Qualifications

• Must be a registered or certified Ohio pharmacy technician.
• Experience in pharmacy or related fields is preferred.
• LTC pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review and input new/readmitted residents to dispense medications safely and accurately.
• Maintain resident information by updating the pharmacy computer system.
• Use proper phone etiquette to provide facility/resident services.
• Triage patient calls to the appropriate party.
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
• Enter new and refill orders into the pharmacy system for Staff Pharmacist review.
• Maintain customer information in the system and update as needed.
• Place outbound calls to facilities to clarify orders.
• Triage incoming faxes promptly and accurately.
• Maintain good working relationships with billing operations specialists.

Job Address: 9299 Market Place Broadview Heights, OH 44147 Pharmacy Order Entry Technician, Evening Shift 2:30pm-11pm Under general supervision of an Order Entry Supervisor, and in accordance with local, state, federal and company laws and regulations ensure delivery of excellent customer service through fast, professional and accurate communication.
