Job summary
WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support unit-dose medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management. You will read prescriptions, prepare medications for pediatric and geriatric patients, and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided.
- State-specific Pharmacy Technician licensure requirements (MD, OH, PA, WV).
- Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB or NHA or hire-after-15-months requirement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare unit-dose medications, deliver medications, and manage drug supplies.
- Read prescriptions and prepare medications for dispensing, including pediatric/geriatric forms.
- Communicate with patients/caregivers regarding medication and delivery options.
- Accurately prepare and deliver controlled substances and maintain records.
- Take inventory and manage pharmacy supplies; replace outdated meds.
- Prepare non-intravenous medications and label products.
- Perform dosage calculations for medication preparations.
- Prepackage medications and maintain related records.
- Maintain clean, orderly pharmacy areas and assist training of technicians.
