Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current licensure as required by state boards (MD/OH/PA/WV).
• Remote workers must hold license issued by state of residence.
• PTCB or NHA certification, or 2+ years pharmacy experience with certification within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare unit-dose medications and deliver medications.
• Read orders/prescriptions and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Possess knowledge of standard pharmaceutical terms and symbols.
• Communicate with patients or caregivers about medication and delivery.
• Prepare and deliver controlled substances with proper records.
• Manage inventory and replenish supplies.
• Prepare non-intravenous medications for pediatric patients.

Education

Pharmacy Technician licensure (MD/OH/PA/WV)
