Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient services. You will process prescriptions under supervision, assist with patient registration and data entry, and help maintain efficient workflow in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, aiding vaccine administration where allowed, and contributing to quality improvement and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations)

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure efficient workflow and patient experience.
• Process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision and operate pharmacy systems.
• Assist in patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with policies.
