Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support hospital pharmacy staff to integrate Shields Specialty Pharmacy workflows and operations.
• Assist Shields Pharmacy Liaisons in clinics to optimize workflows.
• Educate staff on how the specialty pharmacy model serves patients and improves care.
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists or clinicians as appropriate.
• Identify medications requiring special storage or handling.
• Maintain necessary supplies for medications and related items (sharps, alcohol swabs, etc.).
• Handle inquiries and triage effectively; contribute to data management in databases.
• Support process improvements and operational issue resolution.
