Capital Health is seeking a Pharmacy Department Supervisor to oversee daily operations at a designated pharmacy location. You will supervise pharmacists and technicians, ensure safe medication management, and coordinate staffing to maintain uninterrupted patient services.

You will ensure compliance with USP 797/800, provide staff development, and partner with leadership to meet regulatory requirements and quality metrics.

Formación

• Graduation from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a PharmD or equivalent.
• Active NJ Pharmacist License required; BPS certification preferred.
• Three years of health-system pharmacy practice experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• ASHP-accredited residency training preferred.
• Sterile product certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises dispensing of all medications and ensures clean room and compounded sterile product procedures.
• Coordinates staff scheduling to provide continuous services.
• Conducts staff orientation, coaching, and annual competencies.
• Provides training and cross-training on new functions and programs.
• Maintains regulatory readiness and adherence to standards (ASHP, DNV, BOP, DOH, NIOSH).
• Supports department financial management and participates in improvement initiatives.
• Serves as preceptor for residency program and experiential education.
