Job summary
Stanford Health Care is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to establish efficient dispensing and distribution processes, oversee daily operations, and lead a team of pharmacists and technicians. You will ensure compliance with state regulations, supervise performance reviews, and drive process improvements that support high-quality patient care.
The role requires a Doctorate or PharmD, CA Pharmacist license, and leadership experience in pharmacy operations. BLS/ACLS within 30 days are required.
Qualifications
- Pharmacist required: Bachelor or Doctorate in Pharmacy per job posting.
- Licensure as a CA-registered Pharmacist is required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Establishes pharmacist/technician schedules and monitors workflow for timeliness and efficiency.
- Conducts employee performance reviews and participates in hiring decisions with leadership.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements for pharmacy operations and procedures.
- Develops and enforces standard workflows and record-keeping to ensure process integrity.
- Evaluates need for new equipment and maintains medication inventory, turnover, and stocking.
- Mentors staff and aligns pharmacy activities with department and SHC mission.
