City of Hope in California seeks a Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, a licensed Pharmacist responsible for managing a specific area within pharmacy operations. You will oversee pharmacist staffing, coordinate daily work, schedules and assignments, and mentor staff.

You will collaborate with leadership to promote safe, effective, and efficient pharmacy processes and ensure adherence to policy across controlled substances, compounding, and distribution, driving quality metrics and provider education.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of ACPE-accredited Pharmacy School.
• Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY1) and at least 1 year of hospital pharmacist experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a pharmacist in a Hospital setting.

Aufgaben

• Review medication orders for appropriateness, processing, and dispensing per organizational requirements.
• Check products in the sterile and non-sterile areas.
• Monitor treatments and provide timely follow-up on clinical effects with adjustment recommendations.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Leadership to develop, implement, and maintain safe, efficient processes.
• Develop and ensure adherence to policies for controlled substances, ADCs, compounding, distribution, and logistics.
• Measure quality assurance metrics and report trends to pharmacy executive leadership.
• Provide education to health care providers and support staff development.
