Job summary

HCSC is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Support Specialist to assist pharmacists and pharmacy coordinators in resolving claims, pricing, and coding. You'll collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address pharmacy-related issues in a hybrid, 3 days in office/2 days remote setup.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or healthcare, or equivalent experience, and a Certified Pharmacy Technician credential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related health care field or four years health care/insurance experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician credential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in managed care customer service.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
• Knowledge of drug information and ability to handle several tasks.
