Walgreens is currently seeking a Pharmacist Manager in Wisconsin to lead patient-centered care, oversee daily pharmacy operations, and ensure compliant dispensing. The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Wisconsin licensure, and at least 1 year of pharmacy experience with emphasis on prescription dispensing, insurance billing, and regulatory
Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
- Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.
- An average rating of at least 3.0 on the leadership behaviors on the last performance review, if one is on file.
Responsabilités
- Engage with patients to provide counseling on medication use, interactions, and safety.
- Counsel and dispense medications accurately; perform drug therapy reviews as needed.
- Ensure pharmacy operations comply with regulations and company policies; supervise shift changes.
- Oversee staff scheduling and performance, and promote a positive work environment.
- Lead pharmacy process improvements to enhance patient experience and efficiency.
- Support immunization and wellness services as part of clinical offerings.
