Job summary

Signature Health is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead an outpatient pharmacy team. You will ensure regulatory compliance, deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care, and collaborate with clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes.

You will supervise daily operations, coach staff, and provide expert medication counseling while maintaining strong customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Valid unencumbered Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license in Ohio required.
• 5+ years’ of pharmacy experience with 3+ years’ as a supervising pharmacist required.
• BS in Pharmacy from a university accredited by ACPE required; MS/MBA/PharmD preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Pharmacy team.
• Coach and manage team performance; conduct annual reviews.
• Adhere to Signature Health policies and applicable laws.
• Lead meetings and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform pharmacist duties including reviewing and resolving drug-related concerns.
• Serve as site pharmacy escalation point for complex inquiries.
• Recruit, interview, and train site-based pharmacy staff.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and staff.
• Collaborate with care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor inventory and oversee ordering/receiving; conduct audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve growth and efficiency.
