Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to provide formal people leadership and operational oversight for the pharmacy's Operations Team at McLean Hospital. The role includes supervision of technicians and operations pharmacists, and oversight of the clean room in a behavioral health setting.

The position requires a PharmD or BS Pharmacy with Massachusetts Pharmacist license, and 2–5 years of related management experience. Onsite work with 40-hour weeks and on-call duties are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• MA Pharmacist license required.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations of pharmacy services.
• Supervises and directs the daily operations of pharmacy services; schedules and assigns staff.
• Serves as a resource regarding pharmacy policies to pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff.
• Participates in on-call responsibilities.
• Responsible for staff development and performance evaluations.
• Assists in recruitment, interviews, and training of new staff.
• Participates in policy and procedure development.
• Conducts educational programs, in-services, and staff meetings.
