Job summary

Walgreens in Alabama’s Eufaula area is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist. You will handle prescription data entry, patient registration, and medication preparation while ensuring accurate records and compliant workflow.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, and contribute to a positive patient experience, including assisting with vaccines and health services where allowed.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative tasks.
• Ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience in the pharmacy.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians where applicable.
• Coordinate prescription data entry, patient registration, and processing under pharmacist supervision.
• Support non-clinical health services and inventory management as allowed by law.
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
