Job summary

Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy services across hospital locations and to act as the Manager of Record for the main campus and satellite clinic.

The role entails regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, workflow design, and quality improvement initiatives, reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Operations, with a 25–30 FTE team across Mass General Brigham.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and quantitative communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and policy.
• Ability to lead, develop, and evaluate staff.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of pharmacy services across locations.
• Supervise staff; schedule assignments and conduct performance evaluations.
• Serve as a policy resource for pharmacists, physicians, and nurses.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and staff education.
• Recruit, interview, and train new staff.
• Contribute to policy and procedure development.
• Lead educational programs, in-services, and staff meetings.
