Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or US- accredited Pharmacy degree required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.
• Willingness to pursue continuing education as necessary.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Good written communication in routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and direct workflow to reduce customer wait times.
• Develop and promote sales plans and other sales initiatives.
• Fulfill duties of a registered pharmacist and comply with laws and company requirements.
• Direct the pharmacy team to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals.
• Monitor and resolve third-party or insurance profitability issues, rejections, and audits.
• Schedule staff to control labor costs and maintain optimal coverage.
• Maintain all pharmacy records per state and federal laws and company policies.
• Lead and coach direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback.
• Travel as needed to support business needs.
