Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications and verification.
• Perform patient and physician calls under pharmacist supervision and assist with health services where allowed by law.
• Lead non-clinical pharmacy operations and supervise scheduling, training and performance of technicians.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and ensure efficient workflow.
