The role requires hospital pharmacy leadership, ACPE-credentialed education, and a track record in staff management, with a focus on safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Pharmacy.
• 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Experience with hospital pharmacy computer systems required.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Pharmacy in ensuring the pharmacy provides superior services and complies with legal, accreditation, and certification requirements for storage and preparation of pharmaceuticals.
• Ensure patient care remains uninterrupted 24/7.
• Manage pharmacy staff including scheduling, performance evaluation, and improvement.
• Oversee daily unit dose operations and daily IV room and OR/ICU Satellite activities.
• Perform duties of a Staff Pharmacist as needed.
