Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Pharmacist Team Lead to oversee a team of pharmacists and technicians, provide clinical guidance, and ensure daily operations comply with regulatory standards. This on-site role requires licensure and flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays.

The successful candidate will drive quality improvements, coordinate with Operations Managers and HR, manage scheduling, train staff, and monitor timecards to support fast, accurate pharmacy service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, or Doctor of Pharmacy in PharmD, or Doctor of Pharmacy
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in all states requiring Non‑resident PIC
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Willing to obtain Non‑resident PIC license within first 6 months
• Able to commute to Phoenix, AZ on-site

Responsibilities

• Management and oversight of a team of pharmacists and/or technicians
• Coordinate with Operations Managers to provide clinical guidance to process and project changes with the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
• Develop quality improvement measures and resolve customer issues; provide guidance on department processes
• Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor daily metrics to meet SLAs
• Responsible for training and development of the team
• Create and manage scheduling to ensure optimal coverage and workflow
• Investigate quality errors and provide coaching as necessary
• Collaborate with HR and leadership on performance and attendance documentation
• Work hands-on in production to complete tasks and escalations
• Ensure timecard accuracy prior to payroll
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager
