Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• PTCB certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications for patients, counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Answer patient/non-clinical questions to ensure positive experience; manage calls.
• Support vaccine administration, health screenings and other allowed services.
• Coordinate pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate prescription errors to the pharmacist and adhere to quality programs.
