Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a full-time certified pharmacy technician in the United States to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient services. Under pharmacist supervision, you will enter prescriptions, assist with patient registration, and support vaccine and health service offerings where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico) is required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities under supervision to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Assist with prescription data entry, patient registration, and preparation of medications.
• Support vaccine administration, health screenings, and other services allowed by law.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians and ensure tasks are completed on time.
