Walgreens in New Castle, DE is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical operations, assist pharmacists, and ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

You will help with prescription data entry, patient registration, and may participate in healthcare services such as vaccines where allowed by law. The role includes supervising technicians, inventory management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform day‑to‑day non‑clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to support efficient workflow and patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead and train pharmacy technicians, manage performance, and handle scheduling and staffing decisions.
