Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and deliver a positive patient experience in collaboration with supervising pharmacists. You will assist with prescription processing, data entry, and basic health services under supervision, while leading technician training and ensuring policy compliance.

The role requires PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico), a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of technician

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow.
Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information; process prescriptions under supervision.
Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
Communicate with customers to resolve issues and ensure positive patient experience.
Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including vaccines and health services where allowed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
