Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have PTCB certification.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications and verification where allowed by law.
• Conduct patient and physician calls under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist with vaccines, health screenings, and other eligible health services.
• Delegate non-clinical work and ensure tasks are completed on time under policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare and file reports required by the company and government agencies.
• Manage pharmacy daily schedule and oversee inventory and security measures.
• Ensure compliance with Good Faith Dispensing policies and audit-related processes.
• Resolve insurance claims and liaise with providers to minimize rejections.
• Support store leadership in improving financials, operations, and customer service.
• Coordinate immunization clinics and community events with pharmacists.
