Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations, assist pharmacists and help maintain a positive patient experience within a busy retail setting.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will enter prescriptions, manage patient registrations, participate in health services where allowed, and contribute to revenue and inventory management while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow.
• Operate pharmacy systems to process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure accuracy of insurance claims and resolve issues with providers.
