Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician in Nebraska to support day-to-day non-clinical operations under pharmacist supervision. You will handle patient data, prescription processing and ensure compliant workflow to deliver a positive patient experience.

You will lead training and performance management of technicians, manage scheduling, and drive adherence to policies and regulatory requirements. This role contributes to efficient operations and patient care in the clinic.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with patient care including registration, data entry, prescription preparation, counting and verification.
• Handle patient calls and participate in health services offerings under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians and oversee scheduling and task delegation.
