Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivery of patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification where allowed by law.
• Assist with healthcare service offerings including administering vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Lead and participate in training, performance management, and scheduling of technicians.
• Ensure pharmacy workflow is efficient and compliant with policies and regulations.
• Maintain records, reports, and inventory in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager.
