Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure an efficient workflow. Under pharmacist supervision, you will handle patient data, prescriptions, and administrative tasks, while leading technician training and performance management to uphold service standards.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital settings.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to support efficiency and patient experience.
• Assist pharmacist with patient care tasks including registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification where allowed by law.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians; make disciplinary decisions as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of policy and regulatory requirements, ensure compliant recordkeeping and inventory management.
