Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations)

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities under pharmacist supervision.
• Engage customers, resolve complaints, and provide positive patient experience.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians under Pharmacy Manager guidance.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care tasks including registration, data entry, and medication preparation when allowed by law.
• Ensure inventory management, records, and security safeguards are in place.
