Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required or equivalent.
• PTCB certification is required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting preferred.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivery of patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications for patients, counting, and verifying where allowed by law.
• Under supervision of a pharmacist, help with healthcare service offerings including vaccines and health screenings where permitted by law.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians and administer non-clinical tasks to maintain efficient workflow.
