Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician in Purcellville, VA. Under pharmacist supervision, you will perform non-clinical pharmacy operations, process prescriptions, and support patient care while ensuring a smooth workflow and excellent customer service.

You will assist with prescription data entry, medication preparation, and non-clinical tasks. A High School Diploma or GED and PTCB certification are required, with Fridays–Sundays flexible scheduling and English fluency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer complaints and responds to requests to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assists pharmacist in patient care activities including prescription data entry and medication preparation.
• Supports pharmacy operations, inventory management, and non-clinical tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintains proper records, licensing and training compliance as required by Walgreens policies.
